The Brooktherm philosophy is to set up a site ‘Refrigeration Management Policy’, which is constructed with input from the client and defined with clear objectives and documentation for your plant, a nominated engineering team will be allocated to ensure continuity & back up.
On the 4th July 2007 the EU F-Gas regulation No 842/2006 became law and owners of refrigeration and air conditioning plants have a responsibility to ensure regular inspection takes place and leak testing carried out when required. As part of the PPM we will include information and guidance required to support you with the F-Gas regulations.
REACTIVE CALL OUT
When breakdowns occur it can cause major disruption and therefore requires immediate action. Our engineers are available on a 24/7/365 call out rota for immediate response, our office opening hours are;
Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and
Friday – 8am-4pm.
Out of our normal working hours your enquiry will be initially logged onto our database, from there you will receive an immediate response or callback within 15 minutes providing you with our engineers contact details & estimated time of arrival, which we aim to be within 4 hours. For your peace of mind this whole process is always handled by a director of the company.

All of our engineers are fully trained and qualified. Each engineer also carry’s a health & safety site pack which enables them to produce site specific risk assessment and method statements.
We have workshop facilities and in house technical & product support. We carry a comprehensive stock of spare parts, refrigerants and oil to enable repairs to be carried out efficiently with minimum down time.
Brooktherm is environmentally responsible when handling refrigerants and has received F gas certification from REFCOM REF100039 (refrigerant handlers)
Brooktherm can legally carry all waste normally associated with refrigerant plant maintenance, service and installation under the Waste Carriers Licence No CB/UN5810ED
Marine
Our Service Department have a team of 15 fully trained and qualified refrigeration
service engineers who carry out marine service work throughout the UK and at short
notice regularly travel to vessels worldwide. Work undertaken includes

- • R22 conversions
